“Can the website have a tractor on it?” Jody asked me as we discussed the upcoming project on the phone. “I don’t know how you’d put a tractor on there, but I grew up on a farm and love farming so if we could put a tractor in there that’d be great!”

When I hung up the phone I smiled to myself. I wouldn’t have imagined that the Gourmet Chef and Owner of the Red Hills Market food boutique would want a tractor on his site – but I’d certainly see what I could come up with.

The website came together as a paper “farm”, with farm life strewn along a path that wandered through the farm as you traveled from page to page. Since the website was going to be somewhat image heavy anyway, I decided to have a tractor “pull” the website in while the images were being loaded. It worked great. Jody liked it. Later on he told me he got a lot of compliments on the website and loved how it looked.
