Go God Music Festival

Here’s the story behind the toilet paper entrance fee:

Go God Music Festival was a brand designed as an inspiration of Clyde Zahn and sponsored by Newberg Foursquare church (now called Red Hills Church). Clyde wanted to have an annual music festival with live music that created an activity for his church while simultaneously raising funds to help people in underprivileged situations.

The initial festival was sponsored by multiple music bands, food vendors and a $1.00 entrance fee. As an extra help to Love Inc. a roll of toilet paper was also requested from attendees for families in need. I don’t know if people were denied entrance if they didn’t bring a roll of toilet paper or not, but it gave everybody something to talk about and blush over on their way to the festival.

Who doesn’t want to be seen carrying a roll of toilet paper on the way to a concert, right?
